Small sculptures
ART WORKSHOP
Inspired by artist Nicky de Saint Phalle, who became famous for her huge, voluminous, colourful female sculptures, we will also embark on a creative journey into the world of three-dimensional creation.
We will build small figures (10-30 cm high) using different techniques.
Made from wire-wrapped paper covered with papier-mâché, from cut floral foam covered with paper, or with an aluminium foil core covered with plaster.
Finally, painted in bright colours, e.g. with acrylic paint, they are used to decorate interiors in particular.

We explore the laws and proportions of the human body, make sketches and do some preliminary exercises, then let go of everything and find our own abstract approach to our own small figurative sculptures.
