The Hotel Edén has been present in the town centre of Los Llanos De Aridane for more than fifty years and has been run by the same family since its opening. The Hotel Edén is located in the traffic-calmed centre of the town and is in the heart of the municipality of Los Llanos with its cultural, social and shopping facilities. It is close to the town's most important and historic squares - Plaza España and Plaza Chica - with their restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as the parish church of Nuestra Señora De Los Remedios (which dates back to the 16th century). The Hotel Edén offers a range of well-equipped and comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi in all areas. The rooms on the second and third floors all have balconies, some on the Calle Angel side, while those on the front overlook the main square and its stunning Indian Laurel trees (Ficus microcarpa). The penthouse rooms on the fourth floor of the hotel offer outstanding views of the south and west of the island including the recently formed volcano - a new addition to our beautiful island! The hotel's main entrance and staircase lead directly to Calle Angel. The hotel does not have a lift. Accommodation at Hotel Edén (all with private bathroom) includes: Double rooms with double beds, Double rooms with two single beds and Single rooms with single beds The rooms are also equipped with a desk, TV, mini fridge and safe, charging points and are cleaned daily from Monday to Saturday. The Hotel Edén and Los Llanos are the perfect starting point to experience the delights of the island of La Palma. La Caldera National Park is just a 10-minute drive away. Nearby towns on the coast of La Palma include El Puerto De Tazarcorte and Puerto Naos (10 km each) and Tazacorte itself (6 km).

Whether you arrive at the port of Santa Cruz De La Palma or the island's airport, there is an excellent car hire, bus and taxi service to take you the 30 km journey across the island to Los Llanos and Hotel Edén.

With self-organised accommodation, there is something for everyone. There are many accommodation options in all price ranges and for all requirements.

It would make sense to book in the Los Llanos, Tazacorte, Tinizara, Puntagorda and Las Tricias areas.

There are many small holiday homes that participants could also share, write to me if you are interested.

Flights

Flights are booked independently. Important: book to La Palma SPC (not to Las Palmas, Mallorca). Possible airlines for direct flights: easyjet, Condor, Iberia. From Switzerland: Edelweiss. Bargain hunters are sometimes lucky with single flights with a stopover in Mallorca, Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Food

There are restaurants for lunch and dinner as well as supermarkets where we can eat together or individually as we wish.

Material

All material can be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own drawing/painting equipment, e.g. a sketchbook, your brushes, your coloursI also have drawing and painting sets available to borrow or buy, so you don't need to bring anything with you:
